MIKE HAGEN

Professional photographer Mike Hagen has been named to serve as Managing Director of the Nikonians Academy. Hagen has been the driving force behind the highly successful series of North America Nikonians Workshops in the United States and Canada for the past two to three years. The workshops have earned praise as some of the best photographic training sources available.

Hagen's instructional style through his "Out There Images, Inc." turned out to be a perfect match for the fastest growing international community of Nikon-oriented photographers on the Internet.

The Nikonians Academy is powered by Nikonians.org, the friendly home for Nikon enthusiasts co-founded six years ago by Bo Stahlbrandt and J. Ramón Palacios, with corporate offices located in Germany.

"Mike is the living example of the mission Bo and I had from the start," said Palacios, who directs operations and publishing. "We have a proven seven year record of concentrating on making Nikonians an ideal friendly community where photographers learn and interact in a creative and inspiring environment. Our number one goal has always been photography education. When we partnered with Mike we quickly saw that he had exactly the same vision and would be an ideal leader in developing our training operations in North America."

Hagen's responsibilities with Nikonians Academy include providing enhanced workshops as part of the Nikonians Academy approach in new venues, editorial content, training curriculum and boxed content for retail outlets.

He will be responsible for the execution of its future strategies, which include recruiting and hiring new Nikonians Academy training staff.
